SEMA: TOYOTA TO DEBUT TWO NEW VEHICLES AT 2007 SEMA SHOW

Toyota’s presence at SEMA later this year will include two new vehicles, although it’s as yet unclear whether they will be two all-new lines, or just trim level or appearance package “models.”
Interestingly, along with the pair, Toyota will pull out Lexus’ first-ever presence at the show. In years past, there have been a handful of Lexus vehicles on display from various aftermarketers, but this year will mark the first time that the luxury brand has an official presence at the show. It will be interesting to see to what extent customizers embrace the marque, and to see how far out of their way Toyota reaches out to them.
We can’t help but wonder if the decision to launch the high-performance F sub-brand has something to do with it this, or if it’s simply because Toyota has been named the official manufacturer of the 2007 show. Either way, we’re looking forward to Las Vegas this fall.
