RANGE ROVER WILL TURN TO ALUMINUM

For the 2012 model year, the boys at Land Rover are planning on taking an anorexic cue and shedding some 600-pounds from their flagship model by using aluminum. The new curb weight of the lighter and more agile Range Rover should ring in at around 5000 lb (2007 HSE models have a curb weight of 5698 lb and Supercharged models weight 5842 lb).
