1957 CHEVEROLET CONVERTIBLE ONE OWNER SOLD.
When Jerry Iwan bought his first car is was a black 1957 Chevrolet convertible that he bought when he was only 19 years old. Back then he still wasnt of legal age to buy a car so it was registered under his moms name and this is where it all began.
Every winter, the car was put on jackstands in a heated garage, and while the snow was on the ground, he worked on the Chevy. In 1958, a tonneau cover was added. The grille was swapped out, lake pipes installed, and the suspension lowered. Over the first years just about everything under the car that could be unbolted was unbolted and sent off to the chrome shop.
It's got 7,000 original miles and the car is a gem but it's just too bad he didn't know about the lowrider scene because he would've got more money on the street then he did at the Barret Jackson Auction. At Barret the car only fetched $90,000!
Ouch! He shouldve kept it because next year that same car will be up on the block for well over $100,000.
