POLICE IN UK CRACKDOWN ON YOUTUBE STUNTMEN.
Police in the UK are cracking down on adrenaline-craving speeders who film their feats and post them on video-sharing sites, such as YouTube, according to PistonHeads.
UK Police are now monitoring the internet and utilizing the public videos as evidence of various speed law violations. Not only are these videos evidence of dangerous driving, but according to Scottish Police, the drivers are participating in the dangerous activities specifically to video tape it and post it on the internet.
Chief Inspector Alex Ducan, of the Scottish Police, told BBC Scotland, “Driving is a serious responsibility and you’ve got to have all parts of your brain thinking about driving to make sure that you’re safe and other road users are safe. If you’re doing that (filming), you’re not concentrating on the road and that, at the end of the day, is what’s going to keep you safe.”
Wow. That's no fun.
