HOLY BATMAN! THE ARIEL'S BEEN DUPED!
It was only a matter of time before we saw another Chinese automaker bite the style of someones else hard work and marketing efforts and this time it comes in the shape of the Ariel Atom. Straight from the province of Zhejiang comes Yongkang City Feiya Vehicle Company’s “Go-Kart” - which, without doubt, is nothing less than a clone of the Ariel Atom at three-quarter scale.
Although it really isn't as slick as the original, you can still see the borrowed lines and the while it doesn't have the 240-horsepower 2.0-liter Honda I-4 used in the U.K., Feiya’s clone makes do with only a 58-horsepower 650-cc two-cylinder motor coupled to a four-speed manual.
Either way, it sucks to be Ariel right about now.
