It looks like an Aston Martin but it's actually the Lightning Car Company's all-electric British sports car. Named, the Lightning GT, this lightweight coupe is made of carbon fiber and Kevlar. But get this! The electric motor can produce a whopping 700 horsepower and can accelerate to 0-60 mph in just four seconds. Using a NanoSafe battery technology from Nevada’s Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. The Lightning GT uses a regenerative braking system to make the most of its range. It also comes with a home charger (a mobile charger will be available). Hmmmmm....could this be the future of all supercars? Maybe...but maybe not because what would 700hp sound like when it's quiet?
