2009 CADILLAC XLR & XLR-V
Cadillac's newly redesigned XLR sports major improvements including a new rear fascia and side vents as well as the classic egg-crate grille on the XLR Platinum and the stainless mesh grille for the V, and bulging hood.
The XLR will come in two different trim levels; the XLR Platinum and the hardcore performance oriented V-Series. The XLR Platinum sports the company’s 320-horsepower 4.6-liter Northstar V-8, while the XLR-V gets a 443 horsepower 4.4-liter supercharged Northstar V-8 dropped in the engine bay. The interior of the XLR does see a few improvements: Alcantara, a new steering wheel, and a new instrument cluster. Expect prices for the XLR-V to be around the $100,000 mark.
