SILVER CREEK TORTURE TEST

Many of our clients at Superbuy Tires have several vehicles but you can always bet that they've got a Chevy/GMC or Ford pickup truck stashed away for pulling boats, motorhomes or other recreational vehicles. Whether it be a day at the track or a weekend at the water, many truck owners still want to roll in style and we don't blame them. But what most consumers don't realize is the fact that many of these trucks are put through wild test - especially Ford.

Conventional cars get driven for hours at a time through smooth city streets and highways, but many people didn't know that Ford trucks are tested rigorously in Arizona at a placed they call the Silver Creek Durability Test Track. This brutal test puts trucks through a literal torture test and this video will show you some very interesting results. The trucks enter the course at 28 mph be sure to take note of the amount of bed flex on the Toyota Tundra vs. the Ford and Chevy trucks.
