A-CLASS TO GET AXED BY MERCEDES
According to an item in WirtschaftsWoche, a German business publication, Mercedes-Benz will drop its diminutive A-class lineup. Built since 1997, the A-class had been slated for a revamping in 2011.
The A-class, Mercedes-Benz’s first front-drive production passenger car, has accounted for nearly 1.5 million units since 1997, though the model hasn’t been without its fair share of controversy.
