AUDI AVANT RS6 NOT AVAILABLE TO THE U.S.

In a recent press release from Audi, they make it a point to let us all know that the 2008 Audi RS6 Avant is coming - but just not to the U.S.

The super-wagon is capable of reaching 62 miles-per-hour in about the time it takes to say: “580-horsepower, twin-turbo, direct injection V-10″ (roughly 4.6 seconds for those of you keeping score). It will carry on to 155 mph before the better angles of the electric governor naggingly abate the Avant’s “propulsive power.”

Aside from the gobs of power, the ruthless wagon also has room for your skis, your luggage as well as a few beautiful female companions.
