JAGUAR TO PULL X-TYPE FROM U.S. MARKET

We were never really fond of the Jaguar X-Type so maybe this comes as good news. Saying that they have spent the last 18 months “conducting a strategic review of its positioning in the premium luxury market,” Jaguar is pulling the X-Type betting that the more expensive, and more powerful, XF will fair much better.
While specifications and pricing for the XF won’t be announced until the Los Angeles Auto Show next month, rumors peg projected sales volume of the new car at around 5000 units; a similar number to the combined sales of the X-Type and the S-Type that the XF will directly replace.
