MOST EXPENSIVE CAR OF 2007? THE FERRARI 330.
Think the classic muscle car prices have gotten out of hand? Well, yeah....it really has. But that ’71 Hemi ‘Cuda can’t hold a candle (financially now, we’re not trying to start any fights) to the top car on this list from Business Week.
Assembling some of the most expensive cars to sell at auction in 2007, BW has a nice selection here from famous one-off coach-built beauties to a pack of cars with almost unmatched racing pedigrees. In all, it’s a list that starts at the rock bottom value of $2.8 million, spiraling all the way up to $9.3 million for the 1962 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM.
The 330’s claim to automotive gold? It won Le Mans with Phil Hill at the helm.
