FESTIVAL OF SPEED.

The Festivals of Speed in St. Petersburg, Florida take place on March 28th and 29th. The event celebrates cars, motorcycles, boats, and planes. Part of the event takes place on Friday (the 28th) in an air hanger, but the location is only known to ticket holders (per FAA regulations). Included in the activities on Friday are a show of exotic automobiles, motorcycles, and other luxury items. The event host hotel is the Four Diamond Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club, which is close to Vinoy Park. Vinoy Park hosts the Concours d’Elegance & luxury lifestyle display on Saturday. In addition to the cars, there are also cigar and wine tastings. Friday’s event requires a bit of dress up (not black tie) and tickets start at $65, $120 for a couple, while the Saturday event is $10.
