2009 NISSAN MAXIMA

The all new 2009 Nissan Maxima is set to be launched very soon and it will be powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 rated at 290 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque (estimated). This new setup will have an increases of 35 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque over the 2008 Maxima.
The look of the '09 Maxima is definitely different that its predescescor and while the side profile looks great the front end has us all a bit baffled. With mixed styling cues from what looks like an Aston Martin and a Scion tC, the solid nosecone is a far cry what we expected.
Either way the car is going to be a hit and we're just waiting for the first person to get one so we can can see just what wheel and tire combo will fit under those fenders. In stock form, all the vehicles will come with standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and V-rated P245/45R18 all-season tires. The Maxima 3.5 SV model with Sport Package features 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with P245/40R19 all-season or summer performance tires.
