HYUNDAI PLANNING ON LUXURY CAR FOR '10



Lexus did it and so did Infiniti so why not Korean automaker Hyundai. A Hyundai executive has revealed that the Korean automaker has plans to launch a luxury division, wholly separate from its current offerings. The new premium brand will initially be launched for the Chinese market only and should be in place by 2010.

Hyundai sales executive Young-Key Koo told China Daily in a recent interview that the automaker was targeting the successes of its Japanese rivals with the new premium division.

This'll be interesting.
