AMERICAN ICON?

Burkitt & Burkitt encrusted this Mini Cooper with more than one million Swarovski crystals and called it "American Icon" - Ironic...considering that it's a British platform owned by Germans.
The project, commissioned by CrystalArt.com (to announce a line of crystallized greeting cards), took four people almost half a year to complete, as each crystal was put into place by hand. It features such patriotic American images as Mount Rushmore, the Statue Of Liberty, and the Hollywood sign.
This isn’t B&B’s first take at a Swarovski-blanketed car, but it is their first full-scale effort. The company has already completed a Beatles-themed 1:6 scale Mini (on sale for $25,000), and they also have designs on crafting a Lincoln Navigator, with an estimated 1.5 million crystals.
