LAMBORGHINI CONTINUES TO BREAK RECORDS

Lamborghini continues to do something that it has been incapable of doing in the past – remain profitable. This crazy information not only shows you the success of the Lamborghini brand under Audi owenership but also the amount of new money that's rolling around.
Just last year they sold just over 2000 cars and car sales have gone up to 1343 units, with the majority of them being the new Gallardo Spyder. The recently released LP640 also did well, doubling sales of the Murcielago over last year, and early results for the new Superleggera coupe are also promising.
Revenues were €222m and these turned a profit of €18.1m for the Sant’Agata Bolognese company. All up, Lamborghini should be able to surpass 2500 cars sold this year, and even though this is less than half of what the Ferrari boys across town do, it’s still very impressive for a company that has been on the brink of bankruptcy for most of its life.
