V8 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO

Pretty soon, Lamborghini's are going to be common site once they introduce the new more economically priced V8 Gallardo. Over the past month, more and more pictures of this brute beauty has been popping up and this one was spotted over at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata headquarters. Looking almost identical to the current V10 model, the new V8 Gallardo can be differentiated by the unique tailpipes and the distinctly unique engine burble. The most likely power source is VW Group’s 4.2L FSI V8 borrowed from the Audi R8 but with slight modifications to give it a unique sound.

Unlike the current Gallardo, the new model is rumored to feature a RWD configuration, but Lamborghini has said in the past that it considered AWD to be a unique feature of its cars so the baby Gallardo may yet remain AWD.
